I met with Samantha IIkin about my will. She was extremely helpful and very efficient. She listened very carefully to what I wanted and explained the whole process to me. I really felt like she "got" me and what my wishes were. A most professional, efficient and reassuring process. I would highly recommend this firm, especially Sam.

I wouldn't recommend this solicitors practice myself for the following reasons. I telephoned the New Mills office in June 2020 and received a quote for a change of equity on a property. No time limit was given to take up the quote and when I rang back in January 2021 I spoke to the same solicitor who told me that the price had doubled to £600 I mentioned that I'd had a quote from her of half that and she told me that the firm would honour that fee as it had been previously quoted. I rang back a short time later and the person who answered said that she would check and ring me back, she didn't so I rang back to be told that the agreed price wouldn't be honoured and now it was actually £600 plus possibly more as because my wife and I are not legally separated the cost would be even more ( this is in spite of me having explained the full circumstances at the outcome). I wrote in to complain and after taking a full month to reply they told me that I could take the matter to the legal ombudsman as this was their final decision. I'll leave it up to the public to decide whether I have been treated fairly or not.
