Our experience with this organisation has been exceptional.
I dont remember who I spoke to first but she was very lovely and extremely competent and helpful.
The second Day we were able to have a conversation with a Melanie knight.
Melanie was fantastic.
Our fears were put to rest immediately and Melanies way with my 91 year old father inlaw was lovely to hear.
I cant recommend this organisation any more.

I was going through a vicious divorce with a narcissistic soon to be ex wife, we have 2 children together & she was out to destroy me. I didn't know where to turn. I contacted Gilroy Steel Solicitors & made an appointment to See Melanie Knight. I explained my situation to Melanie & straight away she explained to me what I needed to do. Melanie helped me turn a really bad situation into a better one. The divorce is now finalised, my daughters now live with me in the family home & a really good consent order was drawn up & sealed by the court. I highly recommend Melanie Knight .

I appointed Gilroy Steel, Buckingham to assist with a transfer of equity and remortgage which was not always straight forward. Claire kept me fully updated throughout the process and offered reassurance throughout. Thank you Claire for your hard work in ensuring the transfer took place in line with the timeline. The main reason for the review is mainly the fact that 6 months after the completion we are still waiting for the paperwork.
The completion was on 30th November 2020 and since then I’ve sent 2 emails to ask about updates and the answer was “major backlogs”. Might be some delays with the Land Registry but I’ve checked with another solicitor which informed me that Gilroy Steel actually lodged an application to register our purchase on 16th February 2021, basically over 2 months and a half after the completion date. That’s unfair as I had no option to delay the payment for their services…

I went to see one of the solicitors here who was condescending and arrogant about a family matter. He told me I should go see my GP not a solicitor. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a supportive and professional solicitor for family matters.
