Initially, the C.P.S wanted to keep me in custody for 1 month! (Until sentencing) -after I had admitted guilt to 5 breaches of an order imposed upon me for an offence that Iâd admitted guilt to back in 2019. These breaches werenât committed on purpose, it was down to a total misunderstanding on my part, of the finer details of the order that was imposed on me. However, my solicitor Tim, managed to convince the judge to grant me âunconditional bailâ until my sentencing hearing! - for which I was so very grateful.
When the sentencing date arrived, Tim warned me that on the upper end of the punitive scale, I was looking at a possible custodial sentence. He also advised me that any sentence imposed might be suspended. At the lower end of the punitive scale, I might be looking at a community rehabilitation order and a fine. In the end the judge imposed a 24 month community order, including 60 rehabilitation activity requirement days and a substantial (but reasonable) fine upon me. Both Tim and I felt that this was about the best possible outcome that I could ever have expected. Iâm so appreciative towards Tim and I would both use his services again (hopefully I wonât ever need to!) and would also recommend him and âWalker Law Ltdâ to anyone that needs a great firm of solicitors!
