Thompsons Solicitors have represented me through a very challenging few years securing a settlement this month for me.

Finally my mesh injury case has been settled. I want to thank the excellent solicitor representing me, Madeleine Pinschof, based in Bristol. There were times when I despaired at ever getting any kind of justice, but Madeleine’s patience, kindness and guidance over the years was unfailing. I also want to thank Thompsons for representing the mesh injured in the UK.

If i could give no stars i would. I wish i had read the reviews a year ago.

I was put in touch with Thompsons via my Union unison for a not fault life changing injury i sustained at work.

The initial contact was good and they make you feel like they are working for you but in my experience nothing could be further from the truth. They sat on my case and did nothing, there were so many avenues to follow up and nothing was done and then decided to not follow up my case because my employer denied responsibility and then went silent, lets be realistic no company will admit liability.

I have contacted a number of other solicitors who cannot understand why i have been treated this way and feel i have a strong case, i have contacted health and safety officers who are in absolutely no doubt my employer is liable. Unfortunately Thompsons sat on this for so long that there is now not enough time for another solicitor to take it on even though they want too.

Absolutely shameful, they say they are taking my complaint seriously and investigating but i have no faith in the investigation, they cannot do what is essentially bread and butter work let alone an investigation, lets also be realistic no admin assistant is going to rule a partner or solicitor was incompetent as its just not worth their job.

I will update this review when Thompsons complaint investigation is complete.

I was contacted by Thompson’s through my Union. Unison, the first few years were fine, gathering information about the incident that left my son injured.
Now I have been lied to and it seems they are there for person all gain and nothing more.
I have reported to my Union and I will be making a formal complaint.
Really think because they are solicitors they know everything!! My son as felt nothing but rejection and unsupported. They take on all these roles that my son will pay for yet what support as he received NOTHING….
I will now be claiming against them.
