I was wrongfully demoted at work which resulted in me getting a pay deduction and humilation from my employers. I never lost faith and won the case!

I recently had two properties for sale, one of which was with Raeburn Christie Clark & Wallace Stonehaven office. from start to finish the communication was excellent, giving weekly update on interest levels via website views, home report views etc. fully managed the process through a successful sale. A vast difference to what I experienced via the other agent.

I would not hesitate to recommend this firm, particularly the solicitor I mentioned, along with Douglas Crombie who was my parents solicitor, the diddicult legal processes were dealt with competently yet always with courtesy and compassion, I am very satisfied with their service.

This firm is handling an estate settlement and myself and my brothers in NZ have found them to incompetent. Nearly 2 and a half years ago they sent a letter telling us we were part of an estate of my mothers relative who had died nearly 3 years ago. At one point they asked one of my brothers to advise his bank details for intended payment of this estate. Never have they asked myself and the other brother to do the same?? yet we are all part recipients of our deceased mothers portion of the estate. As we couldn’t work out why one would be asked and not the others an email was sent asking if they needed our details “Oh yes in due course” was the answer, how is this the case when one brother had already been asked!! We both decide to send our details as we knew this would be required... so we thought! my sister in law later asked if they had received those details.... to date no answer. We have since received a executry account statement for this estate with a statement from a seperate law accountant stating their fees of just on 25 thousand pounds is a fair and just payment for the work they have carried out to settle the estate.... just one problem THEY HAVNT SETTLED THE ESTATE... but I bet they have been paid. Emails I have been sent said the delay is still waiting on returns of personal details for some beneficiaries!!! now remember their incompetence and obvious poor administrative practices have not yet asked myself or one brother for these details.. is this the same in this case. I appreciate COVID and some delay waiting on people have played a part but poor management and their own failed practices are to the fore. Is it fraud to accept payment for a service you havnt delivered???

Fiona Coutts handled my divorce and in an independent expert report by another law firm/Solicitor found them to be negligent on all levels. Fiona Coutts failed to assess my ex husband's pension or get any value, failed to advise me properly on my rights with having a disabled son, failed to secure adequate care and help for me and my sons. In hindsight Fiona Coutts was totally inept, unskilled in complex family law cases and made huge mistakes which I now have and my children have to bear. I can not contextualise the incompetence of this company, they are not fit for purpose. I did write to the Head of RC and FC and enclosed with the legal findings and independent report and got no response! Unfortunately the case is time bared otherwise I would have pursued a legal case for negligence against them.

Don’t use these people! At a stressful time they cause more stress with their incompetency!! Just great when you’ve got to take advice from another solicitor to get what’s legally yours done!
