I originally practised as an attorney for a large regional law firm in South Africa before moving to the UK twenty years ago requalifying as a solicitor under the Qualified Lawyers' Transfer Scheme. I then became a partner in 2001. I specialise in estate planning and wealth protection, focussing on complex Wills, estate administrations and inheritance tax issues. I regularly advise farmers and business owners as well as individuals with property in foreign jurisdictions. I like to think that I offer an innovative approach and I’m really passionate about creating a strong client service culture across the team. I’m lucky enough to live in a lovely picturesque village near Sherborne and away from the office, I enjoy gardening, walking, cycling and exploring the coast in my sea kayak.

Excellent Service Throughout
I had realised my Power of Attorney's needed to be updated/upgraded, as well as my Will. Everything was explained carefully from the way the LPA's work and the way it would be updated and the costings involved. With one executor Son based in the USA the signings took sometime but all was suitably completed. I know everything is carefully kept by Mogers Drewett and that my future affairs will be in good hands when my executors have to deal with any of the matters covered by these document's.

Renewal of Wills
This was the third time that we have updated our Wills, because of my last employment and frequent changes of address, which had been with a different firm. Mogers Drewett have been by far the most efficient to deal with. I have nothing but praise for all aspects of the excellent service that they provided. Thank you.

A lot off my mind
For many months now our children have been telling us to get this POA sorted. We have now done it and all that I ca say is that the process was straight forward, done fairly quickly for a fee that was acceptable.
