Some aspects excellent but wouldn't use again
All communications with the staff were warm , friendly and professional. And they always responded to my emails/phone calls in a timely manner. In that respect they were excellent. However I was disappointed to find I wasn't actually engaging a local solicitor. I chose Coodes because there was an office in Falmouth (and the good reviews). I wanted to be able to pop into the local office to hand deliver important documents however it transpired I couldn't do this and had to travel to St Austell (didn't trust the post). It was my fault that I didn't check this before going ahead as had I known this, I wouldn't have chosen Coodes.
Also, on a number of occasions I was informed I'd provided all the information required but then heard nothing for some time. When I chased things up I was told there was in fact more information that I needed to provide. I'm aware the other party's solicitor wasn't great and this probably didn't help but based on previous house buying/selling experiences Coodes should have been more proactive. This aspect was disappointing.

Fantastic experience
I have used Coodes for a variety of house sales, purchase and for my will. They have always been fantastic with excellent service and great communications. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family.

1st class service once again
We returned to use Kathryn and Mandy after having used them for a previous house sale and move. Once again, it was fantastic, first class service. We have used solicitors years ago where nobody gets back to you, and when the solicitor is on holiday, everything grinds to a halt and nobody can help you. It’s very different with Kathryn and Mandy. Emails are replied to promptly and if Kathryn is off, Mandy ( or sometimes someone else ) will continue to keep things going with your case. Nothing is too much trouble and they really do go above and beyond to make a potentially stressful situation as stress free as they can. I have recommended them to several other people, who have gone on to use them and been very happy.
They are both a real credit to Coodes, extremely professional at all times yet very approachable.

Timely and informative!
I found everyone I spoke with at Coodes very friendly and helpful. I didn’t experience any delays and didn’t feel I needed to chase anything. Kathryn and Mandy were both very helpful and informative which helped make the process much easier for me. Things were explained in a way that I could understand and they were happy to answer any questions I had. I would definitely recommend them!

Totally professional service
Given the complexity of my personal situation, living overseas while purchasing a property in the UK, and also being profoundly deaf, Coodes could not have been more sympathetic and helpful. They are wholly reliable in every way - and very nice with it!
