Taking instructions for and preparing “Change of Name Deeds” and documents required to show “no impediment to marry” for overseas marriages is one of Victoria’s multiple tasks. Taking instructions from clients to enable her to prepare “Statutory Declarations”.

Contacted Wake-Smith solicitors to complete my change of name deed poll at 10am, by 2:30 I was able to sign my deed poll and start using my new name. I am SOOOOO happy. Vicky was so helpful and friendly and the whole process went smoothly.

I received great service from Lindsey and Victoria. Very reasonable price as well. Lindsey is very knowledgeable and made the whole process so much easier for me. Would definitely highly recommend their service and would definitely use WSS again. Thank you!

She got everything finished in a matter of days. It's taken me around two years and I couldn't do the process. It was worth the money going to wake smih for help

Prompt and excellent service from Vicky

I live in the US and required a quick action due to a deadline for the required documents. The time zone difference was handled very smoothly and I received everything before the deadline. Legal situations can be very stressful and Vicky's wonderful service took all of that away.

After weeks of failing to navigate my way round the Deed poll process I contacted Wake Smith to help me change my name. I was taken through every step of their much simpler process by lovely Vicky Walker who was so kind, patient and efficient and the whole process was completed in a few days. Used Wake smith Solicitors to do my Deed poll excellent professional service did not realise how easier it was to do it through Solicitor was processed within days I had been waiting over 7 months going through the government gateway to get this done in result they have lost my details really thank the Solicitor Vicky for being so prompt and sorting my name change thank you

I cannot rate Wake Smith highly enough, specifically Lindsey Canning and Victoria Walker.
Lindsey was the utmost professional, everything was done by the book and at times she was bluntly honest with me. Everything you need from a solicitor.
Vicky was my point of contact, always available, consistent, supportive and very helpful. Dealing with a difficult subject with empathy and humour is a credit to Vicky's character.
