Jamie has previous experience in Employment and Criminal law, with a keen interest of protecting individuals’ rights, Jamie has worked with some high-profile businesses and international clients. Situated in our Birmingham City Centre office, Jamie joined Sydney Mitchell in August 2024. After gaining an LLB with American Legal Studies in 2021 with a First-Class Honors, Jamie then went on to graduate with a Distinction in his LPC, whilst gaining experience as a Paralegal part-time. With familiarity dealing with a diverse range of clientele – from professional businesses to vulnerable individuals – Jamie makes every effort to build a special rapport with every client, recognising how personal and intrusive the immigration process can be.

He has been available every time I have needed to ask questions and any emails are always answered on the same day. Jamie also has a very patient and reassuring manner. I don’t think I could have obtained the Visa without him.

Both Melissa and Jamie were friendly and always one step ahead. It was a pleasure to work with them . Melissa was very honest and had great legal knowledge .Jamie was also helpful and answered any questions we had . A Fantastic Result!
I brought my Cuban friend Samuel to this firm not knowing what to expect. At every stage Melissa Southall and Jamie Langley displayed the utmost professionalism and compassion to this young man, who was seeking asylum, after it was granted to the rest of his family.
