Laura is currently studying the ACTAPS qualification with the hope to achieve membership status soon. Areas of specialism include; disputes which arise between the beneficiaries and executors of an Estate, or co-executors of an Estate; claims against the validity of a Will, on grounds of undue influence, fraud, lack of testamentary capacity, fraudulent calumny and/or want of knowledge and approval; bringing and defending claims for financial provision from an Estate under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975; bringing and defending claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (“TOLATA”); proprietary estoppel claims; claims involving the rectification of a Will; claims involving the removal of an Executor of an Estate; and disputes concerning the administration of trusts.
