Don specialises in commercial landlord and tenant and real estate procedure and disputes, covering all aspects of this work from lease renewals and property management to advice on restrictive covenants and property development issues. He also advises on commercial disputes and professional negligence claims against property professionals including surveyors and solicitors – with over 25 years of experience in these areas. Don has worked at some of the biggest national law firms, often in very senior roles including partner. He helped build and shared ownership of a very prominent regional law firm based in Nottingham, which was acquired by a legal services plc in 2020 . Don has always enjoyed working with individuals, SMEs and national clients across the whole of the country and has a truly diverse and national practice. He has been recognised by the Legal 500 and in Chambers at team/firm level and as an individual lawyer for property litigation.
