Firstly i would like to emphasise on how fantastic this company is, Recently we sold our first home and purchased our forever home with Sweeney Miller.
The advice and support from Abigail was brilliant, Abigail stayed in contact and kept us updated throughout the whole process with selling and buying the properties, especially towards the end of the process.
Moving home is the most stressful thing i have ever experienced but Sweeney Miller made the move that much easier!

Slow and inefficient - likely overloaded/understaffed
We wouldn't recommend Sweeney Miller to anyone because of the following issues:
- the solicitors were unfamiliar with our case and we had to answer questions or doubts which were explained in our case file
- the solicitors could not properly communicate with sellers' solicitors regarding the TR1 and transfer deed (misspelled buyer name, declaration of trust) which resulted in an e-mail ping-pong that lasted for 2-3 weeks. The solicitors did not check the paperwork obtained from sellers' solicitors against our file to verify if the names are spelled correctly and declarations were included - we had to do that on our own.
- the solicitors left sorting out matters related to proof of funds to the final weeks of the case, despite the proof being submitted months earlier. This caused additional 1-2 weeks delay.
- they seemed oblivious to our mortgage offer expiry date, despite our reminders
- it took nearly 6 months to complete our case
- had to submit a complaint about the shortcomings in dealing with our case
From positives:
- they are definitely professional solicitors, but clearly overloaded and simply don't have the time to properly deal with new cases
- our matter was quickly concluded after complaint submitted

Best conveyancing service
Best conveyancing service I could ask for. Thanks to Anthony Miller and his team I have bought my first home without any hassle. Throughout the process I was kept well informed. Overall I am very happy with the service I got and I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Purchased a home with Anthony as my solicitor
I have recently completed buying a home using Sweeney miller law and Anthony as my solicitor. The full process has been pretty plain sailing and this is down to Anthony being very approachable and quick with his responses to my queries. Buying a home can be difficult and rather stressful but with Anthony’s help it has been stress free and was completed in a very reasonable time frame.

Solicitor for Leasehold flat
Anthony was always honest, quick to respond to any queries I had and informed me of any issues promptly. For completion and exchange this occurred very quickly and with no issues on the leasehold. He was available or got back promptly via phone and was supportive from start to finish.

A Conscientiously law firm
