Due to a very very messy separation I was recommended to contact Wendy Hopkins by a friend who had known others to use the firm during their own separation issues. I was originally using a different solicitor firm to begin my proceedings but following the recommendation I arranged a meeting with WH, who then assigned Bethan Tapper to the initial meeting, Beth listened to everything of my situation, background and concerns surrounding my children and relevant things - after a short deliberation I decided to change from my then current family solicitors and use Wendy Hopkins from that point forward.
Bethan has continued to work with my case from the very beginning and took the time to understand my position, concerns and expectations of her service from the outset. She was professional and direct, although managing to deliver her service in a way that was totally pressure free and Beth always treated me as an individual, not just another client to earn the firm money. There were even moments where I could have become overwhelmed with anxiety but Beth, quite simply, would say "Give me five minutes" and a solution was created to overcome each hurdle each and every time, putting me at complete ease.
The family proceedings for the Residence of my two children have now concluded in a very multi-layered and complex case over the past 12 months, but thanks to Bethan of Wendy Hopkins Family Law and James Lewis of 9 Park Place Chambers (alongside other team members of each firm), who have continued to work tirelessly to achieve the end results - I am still using WH for representation during the final stages of separation involving my property, but I could not be happier to have made the decision to move family law firms at the beginning of my proceedings and will continue to use this firm for any further matters required.
A huge thank you to Bethan Tapper, and Wendy Hopkins as a whole during a stress and anxiety filled period of time for me.

Bethan Tapper.
Bethan has helped me through court proceedings that have spanned the last 5 years. She has guided me, consoled me when things haven’t gone my way and always advocates for me and my parties best interests.
I would trust Bethan with my life (and my families) and even though I have now relocated, I continue to use Bethan. Her knowledge and professionalism is unmatched. She explains things in a way that I can understand, without the legal jargon, and always makes sure the message is recieved as intended.
She’s worth her weight in gold and whoever instructs Bethan will in the very safest of hands.

Assistance with divorce

Excellent, professional service
Bethan was fantastic. She was professional, knowledgable and showed empathy throughout. She went above and beyond to support me with all aspects of my divorce. Bethan is the Best
I was pointed in the direction of Wendy Hopkins Family Law practice by a friend who had nothing but positive things to say about his custody battle to see his son.
After the initial consultation, I was appointed Bethan Tapper.
From start to finish, this lady was absolutely flawless! She went above and beyond anything I ever could have hoped for.
She was an angel during the toughest period of my life.
To go from having my contact with my two young sons cut off completely to writing this review on Fathers Day with a shared care 50/50 arrangement is unbelievable.
I cannot recommend this company and especially Bethan enough.
She was amazing and I will forever consider her to be my friend:)
P.S…If my numbers come up she may very well be responding to future clients from somewhere tropical 🏝️

Bethan Tapper
I found Bethan so friendly and professional. She was always available for me, even on weekends she would answer her phone if it was an emergency and to be honest if it wasn’t for Bethan I would’ve really struggled through my divorce. She helped me in so many ways which weren’t even I. Her job description. I feel she went above and beyond at all times. I always highly recommend Bethan.

Excellent , constructive,positive experience
Bethan and the whole team were excellent during a very difficult time, ensuring that the erratic behaviour,misrepresentation and lack of truth from the other side were dealt with factually and promptly.
The explanation is plane terms at every step was very reassuring .

Exceptional
