Never use Gomer Williams
If I could allocate a no star rating for this firm, I certainly would. I was chased for a £12.00 charge I did not agree to and this, landed on me in excess of 6 months after this firm issued an invoice (approaching £1,000) which I paid within days and before they had served any papers. The firm seemed to be of the opinion that it can apply any charge, at any time, for any value simply because it has what appears to be a cover-all clause in their terms and conditions. In other situations this would be deemed as daylight (you know what). This is irrespective of the fact that nobody from the firm discussed the charge with me at the time. Their billing operation clearly leaves a great deal to be desired given that a senior member of the firm feels that charges should be applied well after the invoice has been paid. I would like to think that a professional firm would be able to get basic things right, clearly not with this firm. I had to contact senior partners in the firm and even then, was not afforded the dignity of a response, shameful as far as I am concerned. Avoid using at all costs or be prepared to pay more than you agreed.
