Excellent Service
We have just completed our first will with Johnson Astills Solicitors and was assigned Kate Pettit as our solicitor, cannot thank Kate enough for making us feel at home straight away. From our introduction meeting where we talked though all our plans and wishes all the way to the end Kate was extremely informative, from translating all the legal jargon into plain English to explaining all the clauses which go to make up the will. In between face to face meetings Kate set up teams calls so that we could discuss everything as the documents were put together and any amendments made. Cannot recommend Kate and Johnson Astills highly enough.

Arranging Lasting Power of Attorneys for my husband and myself
We could not have asked for a better service in all respects. Everything was explained in an understandable way with great care and professionalism and at every stage there was ample time for questions which were answered clearly and to our satisfaction. Before signing, the documents were read to us and opportunity given to make some small adjustments. The process which initially had seemed somewhat daunting could not have been easier.

Mum’s Probate
We contacted Johnson Astills to deal with our mum’s estate. It was the best decision we could have made. At what is a very difficult time it was good to get professional help to deal with matters regarding probate when we were only concerned with dealing with our loss.
We cannot fault the service and advice given and would thoroughly recommend Johnson Astills and we are now dealing with their Property Team as well. A special thanks to Jane Hinds and Kate Pettit who we’re a pleasure to deal with.

Will
I had my will updated through Johnson Astills.
I found them to be very friendly whilst remaining professional at all times. I was offered very thorough advise and the whole process was made easy.
I dealt mainly with Kate Pettitt and would certainly recommend using her/their services.

Will writing
Like many people, updating my Will was a task I kept on putting off. However, Kate made the whole process so easy and straight forward. She was very patient throughout and during our meetings I did not feel rushed or overwhelmed at all. Kate was extremely efficient and communication by email and by post was excellent. I would certainly recommend Kate at Johnson Astills to anyone wishing to write or update their Will.

Probate
I would like to take this opportunity in thanking our team (Jane Hinds, Jessica Latimer and Kate Pettitt). They have been a brilliant team to work with. At every point there was someone we could talk to, contact and get advice from; when the other was on holiday, and or on leave. There was always one of them at the office, at the other end of the phone or via email. They have been brilliant in helping my sisterinlaw with her language difficulty from getting interpreters set up for her, to sitting with her making calls and with my liaison with them for my sisterinlaw. The help, advice and understanding of our situation was always put first, and this was so important for us. We felt comfortable with them at all times, putting our trust in them and trusting them completely. The way they helped, explained and the planning was brilliant. We couldn't have done this without them. I cannot imagine how I would have coped with all this from London to Loughborough, if they had not been accommodating, but the process was so easy and smooth with communications. We would recommend them and no doubt we will be intouch if we require any more assistance from Jane and her team. Thank you once again to all three of them....

Fantastic
This firm is brilliant , I have used them most of my life. Their staff have always be professional and knowledgeable , experienced and trained. At the same time they are sympathetic in difficult situations, and prepared to listen. Then they give you the advice and direction you need to reach very satisfactory conclusions. Kirsty has been superb , as has her Assistant , Kate. As ever I cannot fault them and cannot recommend them enough. Through work, over the years , I have come across other Solicitors but Johnson Astills are still , in my estimation, the Best.
