Conveyance
Process went fairly smoothly. I had 24 hours access to the app and I could monitor the case progress. My emails were replied 48 hours after and I was never able to get through to them on the phone.

Shocking
Please don t use it p m law , they don't answer to messages emails, phone call, left mortgage offer expires , 7 months for a simple transaction properly , they hide behind team complained 2 times no joy !!! Don't use it !!!

Purchase of first property
Smooth experience with PM Law, only took about 12 weeks to exchange and complete on the purchase of my first property.

Badly organised
Very frustrating experience. I was told in advance that my house selling case would be a quick and straightforward one (only one person on deeds and no mortgage). In reality it was very different . The case didn’t move forward and when I tried phoning I was told my case handler was off sick. Questions raised by the buyer’s solicitor were not forwarded to me for two weeks I replied immediately but again these replies were not sent back for at least another two weeks . As the originally planned date of moving approached and still no news I tried to speak to someone but each time left on hold for an hour until I gave up. I requested a call back but nobody called back . The only information I could get now was that my case handler was on holiday . After 3 months of scarce communication I was assigned a a new case handler, Mark who was excellent . He replied to all communication very efficiently and got the whole affair tied up in one month. If I had had this service from the beginning I would be giving a 5 star review .

Awful experience
The worst experience of any service I’ve ever had. No/ very late responses to numerous emails (talking weeks), no responses to messages in app, despite claiming “aim” to respond in 24 hours. After 6 months my case was 65% complete, a simple purchase (no property to sell ) - after complaining to Managing Director, case was completed 3 weeks later - Melissa Edwards, who took over my case, was excellent and saved the purchase from falling through.

Stultifying Ineptitude
This was by far and away the most disappointing and frustrating experience of my life . I was selling one of my houses to my daughter .This was the most basic of sales , there was no chain, no estate agents and no issues whatsoever with the sale. From the very start there was a five week delay where the file wasn’t even passed to a solicitor , I only found this out when I rang to see if we were nearing completion . I had said in all my correspondence with yourselves that I would like a quick resolution to the sale so this was incredibly frustrating. As a result of this unbelievable delay I decided to ask to go on your fast track scheme as a way of recouping some of the lost time . Incredibly your service got worse , it was almost impossible to talk to anyone , I lost track of the hours I spent on hold and the amount of times the solicitor wasn’t available and call back requests went unanswered ,emails weren’t answered either I complained twice about the dismal communication and your complaints department agreed that your service was inadequate and disappointing, I am awaiting a response from the second stage of the second complaint but fear I will have to resort to the ombudsman to get any sort of satisfactory resolution.

Completion delayed by a couple of weeks
Picked based on price and good reviews. Initial contact and progress was good then started to get delays and unable to get updates.
Contract and TR1 sent with wrong surname, contacted and resent but 1 was still wrong, 20 mins on phone each time to be told it’s fine.
Our allocated solicitor off unexpectedly and case sat there instead of being reallocated or covered so led to delays. When spoke to her she was fine and apologetic but should have been covered better in her absence. Single purchase with no chain took 11 weeks and should have been 2-3 weeks quicker. Very frustrating at certain points of the purchase and ok at others

Inconsistent Communication
At times the communication was superb but it was equally as bad at other times. The later in the process we got then the more we had to contact PMPL directly. We also weren’t made aware of annual leave and sickness early enough. The total process took 6 months.

Conveyancing
I did express my dissatisfaction and unhappiness with the service during the conveyancing period. The communication was not good because I was sending emails with no reply. Secondly, replies was not prompt from the service. All of the above made the conveyancing process very stressful.

Have to chase at every step
Did the job that was sent out to be done but really felt that progress was only made if I chased and asked for an update.
