NO STARS WOULD BE THE CORRECT REVIEW !!!!!
I really wish I had read reviews before I agreed to use these unprofessional people, it would have been much better to use a local solicitor to see face to face & not post all the paperwork.
3 months in I was told due to illness & annual leave my file had been put on hold, I was lucky not to lose the buyers.
Really disappointed with the communication- took ages to answer phones then either cut off or put on hold & emails took days to answer.
Team Ramsden kept getting details wrong even asking for death certificates 3 times when nobody had died, sorting out ID last minute when they had the details, couldn’t find funds for days, then they turned up in an account they firmly said couldn’t be used. Only just got back paperwork from months which I was promised was sent special delivery - gone to the wrong address !! Please AVOID, most embarrassing experience ever.

The single worst service I have ever received
From start to finish dealing with PM was extremely difficult. They made many errors, mistakes and mis-haps. I felt at one point that without my involvement the sale and purchase wouldnt get over the line.
The staff were polite, friendly and helpful, when they actually knew the information.
3 other people brought and sold property at the same time, all completed 2-4 months before I did.
Even after I have moved into my property, thinking I had finished with PM, they haven't filled out the paperwork to ensure my stamp duty was registered properly, resulting in interest on the overall bill. This is still unresolved.
I would not use this company ever again, and recommend no one does.

Undoubtably the worst solicitors I have ever engaged for anything.
The only positive moment with PM Law was when it was all over, and we can finaly move on and forget they ever existed.
The negatives are too numerous to list, and dont even bother with their complaints process unless you like wasting even more of your time reading a report which is basically them sticking their heads in the sand and denying everything.
All I can say is that months into our house moving process, a colleague of mine went home and told their wife we were moving, they then decided to move, put their house on sale, found a house, did surveys, resolved issues, completed, moved in and then say back and laughed at us while we were still stuck in 'waiting for our conveyancers to sign it off" weeks after theirs was all done and dusted.
I have seen sloths move faster than my solicitors.

Difficult experience
I had a buyer for my property in March/April, finally completed 12th November.
During that time communication was extremely challenging.
Calls took an age to be answered - I gave up after 20mins on more than one occasion.
This was particularly annoying as the hold music is the most depressing blues track you can think of.
Also Any attempt to reply to an e mail was undeliverable as it seemed to be set to 'do not reply'.
Price was cheap and I guess you get what you pay for but still.....

House purchase
It's only 2 stars.
Sorry, but very slow, always need pushing and so unbelievable difficult and frustrating to get hold of on phone to talk to someone.
Cumbersome in communication.

Poor service 😢
Would not recommend this firm. Easiest house sale in the world - private sale, no chain, to existing tenants. Still took 6 months to get to completion, with the majority of chasing done by myself.

Communication struggle
My house sale was slow, possibly due to the summer holidays. Other solicitors were constantly on the phone to me and the estates agents as they struggled to get through to PMPL. There was a time when the chain was going to collapse because we were holding everyone up. Then finally the sale went through. I have never received a statement of the finances and have contacted PMPL 5 times as there’s £700 unaccounted for. I have not received a reply so looking at taking this further. Such a shame as when I did speak to people they seemed decent. There are good points - the progress tracker & the message system on ‘your account log in’ as this is normally the quickest way to get a response but even now I am being ignored on that. Such a shame. I’m satisfied my house sold but just want to know where the missing money is.
