I have been advising on property litigation for over 18 years and my extensive experience relates to commercial and residential property disputes, all types of possession claims, property related insolvency issues, co-ownership disputes, trust and estoppel claims, title rectification and distress and forfeiture proceedings. I also have experience advising on right to light issues and contractual disputes relating to retention of deposits on abortive sales or purchases. My particular specialism is boundary and neighbour disputes and party wall issues. I have participated in and have considerable experience of mediation and all forms of ADR. I am also a member of the Property Litigation Association’s Law Reform Committee and regularly contribute to and coordinate LRC responses to consultations issued by the Law Commission and the Ministry of Justice.

Forfeiture of a lease at commercial premises - Nyree Applegarth
Nyree was presented with a very tricky situation and navigated us through the whole process to a successful conclusion.
She was particularly excellent at assessing the approach required and timing the steps taken, such that the potentially difficult situation was dealt with exactly as she had predicted, and as we had wished for.
