Adverse possession
I contacted Hedges regarding adverse possession. I had previously consulted another firm, but didn’t feel that I received adequate information. I was contacted by James, and he gave me excellent advice by email, and via a telephone call. I now completely understand how I need to go forward with my application. This advice was given free of charge.

James has done a very detailed report for our case and provided excellent reasonable advice. As well as recommended possible reasons in our situation and/or a potential next steps for our case. It is much appreciated, we would definitely recommend to others.

They took the strain off us.
A neighbour dispute over a wall become very unpleasant and stressful because of the unreasonable demands and approach of a relative of the neighbour. James Overton worked with us simply and pleasantly, taking the strain off us. He handled it neatly, and so we could remediate the boundary without further interference. Costly but effective.

Great advice and help so far
We've had a very complex issue and whilst still in process, the team have been great. They've been responsive and always had our best interests at heart whilst also giving us both the good and bad news (and what may happen if things go one way or the other). I think the saying, you get what you pay for, is key, as I don't think you get this advice and service from a lot of firms having dealt with many throughout my career and personal life (both small and large). I know how important it is to make sure you are being dealt with in a conscientious and caring manner whilst also being listened to (objectively as well as positively) which is the case here.

Wouldn't go anywhere else
Hedges Law has just helped us with the sale of our buy-to-let flat. The sale was lengthy (a previous buyer dropping out at the very last minute before exchange) and complicated due to some issues with the existing lease, but Hedges were professional, patient and reassuring throughout. Our main contact, James, was accessible and responsive and was clear and detailed with his instructions and explanations. This was the 3rd or 4th time we have used Hedges for property transactions and we will most definitely use them again when the time comes.

House purchase
Great service, the solicitor was looking out for us. I definitely felt like they "had our backs" and gave us confidence to move ahead with the purchase knowing all the facts. The solicitor also had to proactively chase others to get things done which was above and beyond expectation, but essential to getting a timely completion.
