James Hammersley was able to deal quickly and efficiently with late mothers grant of probate. Simone Bayly and her Conveyancing team were able to retain a sense of humour dispite the various delays and ineptitudes from our buyer and her solicitors whilst keeping their feet to the fire. Both the Grant of Probate and Conveyancing were completed as per Frettens original quotes. Which in the case of the Conveyancing is saying something considering all the extra time and effort involved. Well done- Frettens. Would use again and would thoroughly recommend.

Very slow
Waiting for one bill to be paid very slow and slow communication,once bill is paid estate can be settled dragging on for months.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the process can be frustrating, however as we have explained to you, we cannot settle an estate until all utilities have been paid. The delay to the estate being settled was due to a utility bill not being received (despite our chasing multiple times) and subsequently challenged. Whilst we have made every effort to ensure the estate was settled promptly, unfortunately there are things beyond our control that can cause delays. The timescales you have experienced are not uncommon and we assure you again that your lawyer has done everything in their power to ensure a prompt settlement.

Wills with ease
We had the pleasure of working on our wills, with James Hammersley.
Wills are never fun to go through but James was absolutely great! He made the process light-hearted and we enjoyed our meetings with him.
It was a smooth & speedy process. Would highly recommend them!
