Lisa is our Head of Department for Children & Families, and an Associate Solicitor. She represents children and parents going through legal matters with the Local Authority. Lisa is able to advise on child protection, Care Proceedings, Adoption and Special Guardianship. She has experience in dealing with cases involving complex medical and legal issues and international elements.
Lisa has 19 years’ experience working in Family Law. She qualified as a Legal Executive in October 2002 and subsequently as a Solicitor in November 2004. In May 2011 she became a member of the Law Society’s Childrens Panel of specialist solicitors. She enjoys conducting her own advocacy for clients and has dealt with complex matters including cases at Court of Appeal level.
Lisa is proud to have represented many families in the local area and to have a reputation as a strong advocate on their behalf. She particularly enjoys guiding vulnerable parents through the complexities of the court process. Her career highlight so far has been representing a parent in a case that set a legal precedent.
