I hired Kate Barker when she was working for Thackray Williams LLP to assist me with a probate matter. Whilst she was a friendly person, she did not seem to grasp the basics of probate and her calculations/maths were appalling. In the end when it came to me signing off the estate accounts sheet, I had to write a disclaimer on the side of my signature to the effect that I was only signing as the executor, all discrepancies with the numbers are the responsibility of Kate Barker and should be dealt with by her indemnity insurance. If you do decide to hire her, be sure to go through every calculation as she cannot do simple maths.

Drafting of wills - great experience with Warners
Warners were very professional and talked us through the options and recommendations for how the wills should be set up. They were clear and happy to explain any points we needed clarity on. It felt a simple process and one that was concluded fairly quickly. We would definitely use them again for any legal matters.
