I am so grateful to this team, and especially to Ursula, that I don't even know where to begin. Ursula is so knowledgeable and grounded. I absolutely admire the bones out of her. When she took on my case, I had been financially and emotionally drained by a previous solicitor, who seemed more concerned on taking all my money than to help me moving my case forward. Ursula put the puzzles of my case together and gave me advice on a PAYG to help me gain control throughout our very lengthily proceedings. She was not only spot on with her advice right from the beginning, but also warm, supportive and inspirational. Work experience with Carmen and team
I had the pleasure of completing a week of work experience at Family First. I can say with confidence that the team are so welcoming, kind and hard-working in delivering a high quality service to their clients.
Working alongside Carmen, George, Ursula and Maria, you can really tell that Family First are a team of solicitors who support one another and have a genuine interest in helping clients through emotionally challenging times in their lives.
I have come away from my work experience feeling inspired and glad that I have picked law as future profession. Thank you Ursula and Jenny for having me!

Ursula Rice and her team
Ursula was amazing from start to finish. She was very humane and professional. Gave me excellent clarity and advise. Unlike other law firms- did not advise unnecessary things which would add to legal cost- infact she simplified issues and made the whole process concise and relevant , keeping costs down where possible.
Ursula came to my rescue even at the drop of a hat, to represent me in court at a last minute hearing which I found out over the Christmas holiday period.
She’s professional, compassionate and realistic. Cannot thank her and her team( Carmen, Maria) enough. Excellent service . Am so glad I chose her to represent me.

Unresponsive and disrespectful of any needs or concerns oftheir client
Very poor level of responsiveness to their clients. Incredibly, the Director of the firm in charge of complaints - who was in charge of my case - was the problem.
Very surprised and disappointed at the lack of client care. Escalations of any client concern via email or telephone are largely ignored.
Telephone calls are filtered so that the client cannot contact his/her solicitor over the phone.
The very worst experience of dealing with any solicitors firm that I have had (this would be from a total of 12 different legal matters handled by 12 different law firms).
3 months (and counting) to arrange an independent valuation of my property for a divorce.

Best divorce solicitor Ursula
Hi , I tried for years to get my divorce after more the 14 years separated , I been so stressed and lost and I wanted give up how my ex don’t wanted sign the papers never , i wanted give up but is big and send the Family First Solicitors on my Facebook thanks for that or Universe or whatever it was 😊 , I trust Ursula of the very first time , she transmitted me confidence and hopes trough screen , she encouraged me and cheered me on my very hard time without she know bless her , it was my only support all this time I’ll never forgot het help , Without Family First Solicitors I never I could have my divorce , thank you so much for your free help , thank you for help people , thank you for your advice and encouragement and emotional support

Excellent advice from George and Ursula
George and Ursula do a Facebook live clinic once a week and are knowledgeable, relaxed and approachable. They strive to keep those who ask questions anonymous and give excellent off the cuff advice reassuring many of us with their information and knowledge. Invaluable to know there is somebody out there to answer those questions that go round and round in your head. They also offer a pay as you go service and initial consultation which is great. Thank you George and Ursula for making the law less scary and supporting many.

Advice was spot on
I used Family First for family law for a divorce. I used the pay as you go service and would highly recommend it. Yes, it did mean I did the communication myself and took up a lot of my time. However, this meant that I always knew what was going on and I had a full knowledge of all the financials and what they meant. The cost effectiveness of this method is life saving, to know that its paid along the way and you have no horrendous bills to pay at the end. I also paid nealry a third of the cost of the other side! This was astounding when I saw the figures and very pleasing when I could see the other side had not even paid half of their legal fees!! I would advise this method to anyone out there who wishes to keep the costs of solicitors down and especially if you're dealing with someone who is unreasonable and doesn't wish to mediate as I was. The advice was spot on, despite sometimes being hard to hear. Plus having to go through the court for the whole process I felt fully supported and that I knew what I was talking about as I'd completed so much myself. I would fully recommend Ursula and her team to anyone.
