Sukhii Garcha
Senior Litigation Executive
Sukhii studied her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Wolverhampton, before studying her Masters in Law and the Bar Professional Training Course at Nottingham Law School. She was called to the Bar in 2019. She has previously worked as a Senior Litigation and Employment Paralegal at Aspect Law Solicitors and Croner Group Ltd, and volunteered with Citizens Advice Bureau as a Trainee Advisor. She chose to specialise in Employment law because it has such an impact on almost everybody, yet many people don't know their rights or feel they have a voice. She has a particular interest in cases concerning TUPE and discrimination on the basis of disability, maternity and pregnancy. Sukhii describes her approach as calm and organised, but robust when necessary. She finds the most rewarding part of the job is being able to reassure clients, who may be distressed by the daunting process of litigation. During her time at university, Sukhii was named Student Employee of the year in 2014 and 2015 and won the Oxford University Press Law Prize for her outstanding contribution to the law school. Sukhii speaks Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu, and is currently learning French. Outside of work, she enjoys knitting, hiking, writing and MMA.
