I joined the Personal Injury team as a Secretary at Higgs LLP, ten years ago. I was promoted to a workflow co-ordinator, then to a PA to the Head of Department after two years. I later became a Legal Assistant and enrolled on a Chartered Institute of Legal Executives CPQ course. I assist the fee-earners with handling major trauma cases and guide clients through the civil claims process, in order to obtain compensation for their injuries. I aid with managing the day to day running of matters and instructing medical experts to assess clients. I provide condition and prognosis reports, as well as arrange all aspects of rehabilitation. I enjoy providing reassurance to people who have suffered life changing injuries and are in the rehabilitation process. I get to see people regain a better quality of life, which is very fulfilling.

Excellent service
In November 2019 I had a very bad car accident with a very bad injury, this resulting into having surgery on my pelvis. They have approached me in the hospital and explained the whole process to me.
They visited me to provide further details and explanations.
Laura was the initial consultant who took care of my case. She was there for me whenever I would need extra clarifications or any doubts in regards to everything.
Later on, Andy and Alison took over the case but I would say this I believe that they did everything they could to get me the best offer and gave me the best advice.
I wish to thank them for their help and hard work !
