Property purchase
Having used Manchesters solicitors 17 years previously, specifically James Manchester and having a great experience, he was our first choice for dealing with this property purchase. James really took the stress out of the process for us. He promptly kept us fully informed and gave some great advice every step of the way. In every face to face meeting nothing was too much trouble and the meetings never felt hurried.
The whole process was seamless, would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Stress free.
I cannot recommend James Manchester at Manchesters Solicitors highly enough - he was attentive, supportive and extremely helpful throughout our path to buying our new house. His advice was carefully considered and always felt to be in our best interests, with no detail too small for him to follow up on when we raised concerns and every detail in turn pointed out to us for our attention. The whole experience was one of calm reassurance and someone who was clear re what needed to be done. We also sold our old house through Manchesters, and the associated Hannah James Estates Agents, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this for the peace of mind, ease of comms between the two and speed that things therefore moved. All in all, a positive experience which helped to make what could have been a stressful time (relatively) stress free.

Could not fault the service of James and his whole team.
They keep you informed all the way through the process (selling), only contacting you when it’s needed. Very patient and thorough in dealing with any questions that I had, especially with it being a probate sale. Would definitely not hesitate in using Manchesters again and would highly recommend to others. Thank you again so much.

James's local knowledge was so useful
We were selling our mothers house and agreed to get Hannah James / Manchesters to cover as agent and conveyencing solicitors. Our mother moved into a care home. Juat as the first sale was to complete she passed away and the sale failed. Probate then needed to be obtained. Then we hit the property slump due to Ukraine war and we went through competing paper work 3 times before the house sold. James's local knowledge was so useful, covering off vendors questions about covenants and other local quirks. His expertise, patience and sympathetic ear was so reassuring. The use of local solicitors connected to the estate agents was really envaluable

Would recommend and would instruct him again.
Very professional service on a probate house sale. The transaction entailed some legal complexities which Mr Manchester dealt with carefully and thoroughly. Mr Manchester is a very personable and able lawyer, who advised my sister and I with great care and attention to detail. His fees represent very good value for money as he gives his clients a tailored, individual service, unlike some conveyancing firms that take more of a conveyor-belt approach.

The office staff were very friendly and accessible too.
Manchesters was easily the most competitively priced solicitors in my area. I was a little concerned as to whether this would mean a lesser service but this was not the case. Whilst my purchase did not go as smoothly as I would have hoped, throughout the process it became clear that this was because Mr Manchester paid exceptional attention to detail, not deferring to my pressure but ensuring that the purchase was in my best interests. His advice on both my sale and purchase was given after great care and thought, inferring that he was indeed working for me personally and not just working through an anonymous case file. I would therefore highly recommend him as a solicitor who knows the law to the letter and who will cross all the t's and dot all the i's.
