Lucy joined Wendy Hopkins Family Law Practice as an Associate Director in August 2024 with a wealth of experience in all aspects of family law, having qualified as a solicitor in 2016. Lucy trained and qualified at a top 100 UK law firm where she spent the early years of her career. Prior to joining Wendy Hopkins Family Law, Lucy was a director at a specialist family law practice. Lucy specialises in all aspects of family law, including divorce and dissolution, matrimonial finances, cohabitee disputes, separation, prenuptial and cohabitation agreements, private children matters and injunctions. Lucy has acted in numerous high-net worth financial cases, including those with complex business structures, trusts and high or complicated income streams. Lucy frequently represents business owners, sports personalities and other professionals including doctors and lawyers. Lucy also has experience in representing clients who have received significant compensation following a personal injury or other claim, and for protected parties through a litigation friend when they lack the capacity to provide instructions themselves. Lucy has advised on a wide range of private children law matters, including applications for international relocation. Lucy has built a strong reputation for providing clear, pragmatic advice whilst maintaining an empathetic approach.
