Gemma completed a training contract at Morgans Solicitors before joining de Maids Solicitors and Advocates where she qualified as a duty solicitor. Immediately prior to founding Pure Law Criminal Defence Solicitors, Gemma was employed at Grech Gooden Solicitors where she headed the Prison Law Department for several years. Gemma developed a passion for Prison Law and advancing Prisoners Rights and has been a pioneer in this field for almost two decades. Gemma appears regularly before Independent Adjudicators and Panels of the Parole Board. Alongside her prison practice, Gemma maintains a wealth of experience in general crime and frequently defends suspects at the police station and defendants before the court.
