Lindsay attended the University of Plymouth 1996-2000 and achieved a BA (Hons) Business Studies degree. Lindsay’s first career was with the Police Force where she worked as a Police Officer between 2002 - 2015. After beginning her service on uniformed patrol, she became an accredited Detective Sergeant who specialised in the safeguarding of children and adults. She worked in a multi-agency environment with Surrey County Council’s social care teams and the NHS to protect the public, particularly in the context of domestic abuse. Lindsay laterally developed her second career through her natural curiosity for the law and subsequent employment as a Paralegal in 2016. She studied to become a Solicitor at the same time. She has undertaken a Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with Masters in Law, Business and Management (MSc). Lindsay joined our Trusts & Estates team in 2025 and specialises in Private Client matters including the drafting of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Estate Administration including Inheritance Tax. She has nine years’ experience to offer her clients, two of which are post qualification as a Solicitor. Lindsay prides herself on being approachable, personable and professional.
