Very disappointing service

1

When we were originally put in touch with Miriam, we were quite impressed with the way our initial enquiry was dealt with and although the figure quoted to review our case was, in our opinion, very expensive, we decided to instruct Setfords.
However, over a period of time we became increasingly frustrated with Miriam continually repeating herself during telephone conversations (for which we were being charged by the minute) and paperwork being misplaced or lost.
After approximately 3 months with, in our opinion, Miriam’s advice taking us nowhere and having spent well over £7000.00, we felt that Setfords were really only interested in fee earning and not our best interests.
We therefore took the decision to instruct an alternative firm, who we have to say are acting far more proactively at a fraction of the cost.
To add insult to injury, having advised Miriam of our decision, it took her/her admin dept a further 3 months to furnish us with the correct invoices for what we had been charged.
We have been left very disappointed by the way our case was handled, not to mention a significant loss of time and amount of money.
