Nick has been specialising in Family Law since qualifying as a solicitor in 2008. During this time, Nick has acted in a wide variety of family matters, including divorces, child custody disputes and financial cases, with one case involving assets in excess of £200m. From experience, Nick has found that taking a conciliatory approach to family disputes generally results in better outcomes, at a lower cost and in a quicker time. He, therefore, advocates a negotiated approach where possible. However, when negotiation isn’t possible, Nick has considerable experience in taking cases through the courts, having dealt with cases in the local courts, the Central Family Court, in London, and the High Court. Described by clients as being genuinely interested in their lives and proactive in trying to find practical solutions to their particular problems, Nick aims to provide clear, straight forward advice in plain English. Nick lives locally with his wife, two children and chocolate Cockerpoo. When not ferrying his children to various sporting activities, Nick can be found running with his dog or trying to bake the perfect croissant.
