Postgraduate Paralegal at Mooneerams Solicitors

Rhys Pugh

Postgraduate Paralegal

Rhys was born and brought up in Aberdare in the Cynon Valley. He attended Aberdare High School. After finishing school, Rhys quickly got his first job, working behind the bar of his parent’s pub/restaurant. He continued to work at the pub whilst at university to help fund his way through his studies. Rhys is a graduate of Swansea University, which he attended between 2017 and 2020. After graduating with a first-class honours degree in Law, he stayed at Swansea to take the LPC course while also studying for a Master’s Degree. With success in both postgraduate courses achieved, Rhys joined Mooneerams shortly before Christmas 2022. Rhys role as a Postgraduate Paralegal consists of assisting the ELPL team, which mainly consists of carrying out legal research, drafting documents on the solicitor’s behalf and communicating with clients, the court and the other party’s representatives. When not at work, Rhys spends much of his spare time playing or watching sports. He is a Manchester United and a Cardiff City fan, so most weekends are spent watching games. Rhys keeps himself fit by playing 5-a-side football and practising Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, in which he is a blue belt.

Outstanding, professional and friendly

I used this solicitor for my motor vehicle accident. I can honestly say they have been with me every step of the way and have kept me up to date on everything!
I felt comfortable to ask questions big or small and got great responses so I fully understood the process. Gareth, Rhys and Ellie have been so understanding and I am happy to say the case is closed and we have won! I can finally close this chapter and move on from a traumatic moment in my life. Thank you Moonerams!
