My requirements were a little out of the ordinary because I was moving back to the UK after 22 years in Morocco. I used the proceeds from the sale of my villa in Morocco to purchase a flat in Newbury.
On selling the villa because the Moroccan dirham is a protected currency, there were various complex tax and fiscal processes to go through to allow me to send the money from Morocco the UK. This included anti-money laundering processes enforced by the Moroccan government.
Emma Farley was very thorough in finding out and communicating to me what was needed from Morocco for the UK anti-money laundering requirements. This enabled me to obtain all the necessary documents before I left Morocco.
I really appreciate her efforts to bring my flat purchase to a successful conclusion. She helped me during the 4-month process from the sale of my villa to obtaining permission from the Moroccan Foreign Exchange Office to send the money to England. Then she was very thorough with the rest of the conveyancing for the purchase of the flat. She did an excellent job!

We were first home buyers and the experience of purchasing our first home was very daunting and with a lot of areas to cover.
