Selling my parents home
My sister and I needed to sell our parents home following them having to move into a care home, and chose Mark Feely was very highly recommended by a family member.
We had a difficult journey with buyers and buyers solicitors. Mark was amazing and dealt with everything, and rather than playing pass the email back and forth, he talked to people and resolved the endless issues as they arose.
He took time to ask as to how our parents were doing and could not have been more kind and supportive to us at this very difficult time. We wish we could give more than five stars.

Mark is the best of the best
Mark Feely is simply the best of the best conveyancing solicitor.
Over the last 20 years, Mark has helped me on multiple sales and purchases .
I’m always confident to recommend him to friends, family and clients and the feedback I have had over all these years from everyone has been nothing but the highest praise for Mark and his team.
I would never think of using any other solicitor and I cannot recommended him highly enough .
He has the best ‘can do’ attitude and finds solutions for complex issues .
Our estate agent kept commenting to me how fantastic he is and that they wished more solicitors could be more like him .
I have the highest praise for Mark and his team .. Thank you yet again for everything you have done to get my sale completed

Purchase of our new house
Mark Feeley and his team are exceptional. We had not moved for 28 years and were more than a little daunted by aspects of the process. When we hit a legal problem around the local council sign off for planning permission conditions, Mark gave us sound advice and helped to ensure that this was obtained despite the reluctance of the vendor to do so. If we could award 10* we would.

Purchasing our dream home!
Our dream house came on the market in May 2024 and after multiple failed attempts to negotiate a sale we finally managed to have our offer accepted in September 2024. David Barney & Co were advised throughout and were on standby ready to start the legal process once the offer was accepted. David Barney & Co turned around paperwork and requests in a timely manner and always ensured that we were kept up to date with the process of our sale and purchase. With a very demanding and difficult vendor, David Barney & Co stepped in to resolve situations and set expectations. We also had direct contact with our solicitor for updates and to talk to when uncertainty arose. This is the second time we have used David Barney & Co and we would certainly recommend them.

Mark was excellent and kept us updated every step of the way. Moving house is stressful but he worked quickly, set realistic expectations and kept things moving when there were holdups in other parts of the chain. Thank you Mark, we’re very happy in our new home!

Absolutely brilliant!!
Thank you so much to Mark Feely and his brilliant team for helping us buy our first home.
I was recommended Mark by friends and having never done this process before was keen to work with solicitors who would be supportive and willing to answer all our questions.
I’ve heard horror stories of solicitors who never respond but Mark and the team were so responsive. Always willing to answer questions and were so professional throughout the whole process.
Special thanks to Lisa who was very kind and patient and went above and beyond to call my grandmother and help her with digital identification verification documents. It meant so much that my family were also treated with such respect and patience.
We were able to exchange contracts in less than 12 weeks and this was largely due to Mark and the team.
Highly recommend!! Thank you so much, we will see you for our next move!
