Fantastic service from Jo Powell (and Shauna Bright) throughout a complicated and delayed house move - their efficiency, responsiveness, professionalism and warmth was in stark contrast to other solicitors in the chain, I don't think we would have made it to completion if it wasn't for them.

A Good Local Solicitor
This is the second time we have used Stephens Wilmot solicitors in the last 12 months as our purchase conveyancing was so efficient we used them again for the sale of our home property.
Cheryl and Tracy were very easy to deal with and responded quickly to any issues raised. They did have quite a task with a slow and unresponsive beginning of the chain but rose to that challenge. That being said they battled on to conclude the completion successfully and a few hours before the expected deadline 😂
I can recommend this group of solicitors based on our experience and also with Jo who did our purchase conveyancing in record time last year 👍

Fantastic from start to finish!
Fantastic from start to finish, from inital instruction to completion. Emma Selfridge did the conveyancing on our property sale and subsequent purchase, after being recommended to us by friends. Their high praise of her was richly deserved and we were delighted with Emma's extremely helpful and professional service. We were updated at every step of the process and any issues were sorted promptly and efficiently. Knowledge(Stephan) & Perseverance (Wilmot)
Really appreciate your help & patience on my property registry.
Jo deserves a standing ovation for her perseverance in getting my property through sale which was very complicated, we had our moment but Jo kept fighting. Always would reply to my email within an hour which was really the key to my case.
Payten kept following through the registry & finally got this as We wanted.

Conveyancing
Moving can be very stressful, everything went very smoothly. Communication was key and I was kept updated all the way through with everything being explained fully by either Joanne or Charly via email and telephone conversations. Definitely made my move a lot easier. Thank you.

A generally good experience
Stephens Wilmot did a good job for us. We had not moved house for 16 years so were learning as we went along and had forgotten how tortuous the conveyancing process is. At times it seemed that they were being excessively cautious in their approach but we can understand now that in this litigious era the need for this is necessary. They were quick to respond to questions but sometimes we felt that they were "quoting from the book" rather than understanding our question fully and offering an explanation or a workaround. Generally however we were very satisfied with the service they provided.
