Sarah Dunlop
Head -Agricultural & Commercial Property
I work within the Firm’s commercial property department specialising in agricultural property. Having worked in insolvency and business recovery within a national firm for 10 years, I made the leap to agricultural property law in 2014 to follow my passion for the countryside. I am a Chartered Legal Executive and qualified in 2019. I have specialised in Buying and selling agricultural land and farms, Auction Preparations, and tenancy matters including the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 tenancies, Partnership Agreements, Farm Partitions, Overage Agreements, Deeds of Easements, Covenants and Releases for seven years. Prior to that, I accrued ten years’ of experience in insolvency and debt recovery. Dealing with property can be stressful and I approach my clients with an understanding of their situation. I enjoy contributing through the legal expertise that both I and the Firm can offer to the long-term sustainability of farming businesses and to see farming families ensure that their hard work is secured for future generations.

Exceptional
Sarah Dunlop and her team helped me with a commercial lease for an equine business. To say that I had zero experience with what to do and how to get started is an understatement. Sarah guided me through the process, and went above and beyond to make sure I understood each step and the legalities behind it. She fought my corner fearlessly when needed too!! She’s been on the end of the phone to answer questions since then, and as always is highly knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend.

BLANCHARDS .... My legal Home
I think I was 33 years of age when my Bank Manager introduced me to the late Mr David Lang in Blandford as I had to swear an oath. My business was in Cornwall but I was impressed and decided to transfer all my legal matters to Langs. A very happy move and away from Cornwall.
Of course Langs eventualy joined Blanchards and I have been very well looked after ever since. Now I am 85 and still very, very happy!

Excellent throughout a very difficult house sale/purchase
I can't fault Blanchards Bailey a single bit. We had a very difficult house move that went a bit wrong (fault of our buyers lenders). The team were on hand throughout and we never felt in the dark at all. They also offered help post-sale to form a complaint for compensation, which was successful.
I would highly recommend this company and would happily use them again.
