From dealing with the sales conversion team to being then allocated a conveyancing team the process was very informative for me as a first time buyer and I felt a lot more at ease with this firm then any other firm who quoted me. Throughout the lengthy process Poole Alcock Newbuildteam1 were always fully prepared and well ahead. They were easy to contact and very responsive and helped me with any query. Honestly couldn’t have been happier with their service. Having compared this to services my immediate family and also friends had received in the past Poole Alcock were brilliant.

Sale of Uncles Property
We had some ups and downs selling this property with sales made and pulled out of several times. Then when we got a sale it was not completed when my uncle passed away and it had to go to probate, the lady in question understandably pulled out.
Within days it was sold again to a lady who was willing to wait the approximate wait of 22 weeks for probate to be granted.
While all this was going on the staff at Poole Alcock were brilliant always keeping me up to date and advising me . They prepared everything ready so as soon as the probate was granted the sale could go through without delay.
Sure enough the probate was granted and within hours the sale went through.
I could not believe it , a brilliant service. The staff have been brilliant throughout and after a nerve wrecking wait it all went through without a hitch. It has been such a relief mainly due to the efficiency of the staff at Poole Alcock newbuildteam2.

TRULY PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE & OUTSTANDING SERVICE
From Instruction to completion the whole team at Poole Alcock have been fantastic - keeping us in the loop every step of the way with what was a complicated lease hold sale - obviously if the buyers solicitors had been on the ball and at the top of their game like this super firm then our sale would have been completed sooner - none the less Nicola, Kate and all the team have been true professionals and I would recommend them to anyone. House buying or selling is very stressful but this firm goes out of it's way to ease that stress. Many thanks all.

Smooth customer experience

House move
The ladies helping us (Georgina and and co) were superb. They kept us informed throughout and even though we ‘pestered’ them too often, nothing was too trouble. This was our 1st home move in 28 years (we are both in our 70’s) and they so patient and courteous.

New build team a great help with purchase of new build property
Having used Poole Alcock for the sale of our property, a few months later we found ourselves looking to buy a new-build house. We have bought new-build before but that was a long time ago and, as quickly became apparent, it's important to have a specialist legal team working for you. Despite some initial hiccups in communication (we were promised a welcome phone call from the team that never materialised), our relationship with Amelia and Georgina worked well and we were guided through the various processes safely and successfully through to completion.
The New Build team were at pains to point out in advance that the "Source of Funds" requirements are something that they are obliged to do assiduously and we would just guide other buyers that this is a procedure that can feel quite uncomfortable at times, so be prepared...and don't take any follow-up questions too personally!
We are very grateful to Poole Alcock for steering us gently but firmly through our new-build purchase and would be happy to recommend their services to others. Our only reservation was that missing welcome call, which would have helped us greatly to settle in to the working relationship.
