Working with Philip Barnsley and Rhian Grey from the divorce team has been very reassuring and supportive. Advice has been first class recognising my personal issues and emotional needs , advising me in such away that matters were dealt with in as smooth away as possible. any questions/ concerns I might have were responded to in a timely matter with my best interests at heart and to ensure the best outcome possible.
I would happily recommend them .
I have not answered any of the questions in this review regarding costs etc as the whole divorce has taken over 25yrs and I have forgotten what the cost have been regarding Higgs LLP. What I can say is that all matters regarding costs I incurred with Higgs LLP have been agreed in advance and that there were also choices as to how I wished to pay for their services subject to how matters were progressing etc.

Excellent from start to finish.
Philip was excellent - understanding and guided me through the divorce process from start to finish.
He kept in regular contact and I was updated all along the way.

Incredible Family Team
I instructed Higgs to deal with my divorce and finances as well as my child arrangements in November 2023, following separation from my husband in July 2023.
Even from my first initial meeting the family team, Philip Barnsley and Sioned Fitt particularly, demonstrated incredible legal knowledge and offered excellent support and guidance to assist me in dealing with these matters whilst experiencing ongoing domestic abuse from my husband, a family lawyer himself.
I felt they were very approachable and incredibly dedicated advocates, every email was answered quickly, every telephone call answered, always with sound strategic advice that not only helped progress my case but helped me manage my anxiety in such complex circumstances.
Their costing was very generous, particularly considering the complexity of my case and the level of input required.
I am very grateful to all of the Family Team and would recommend to anyone undergoing a divorce, child arrangements and especially those who have suffered domestic abuse. They are a team who will wholeheartedly advocate for you in times where you feel you can no longer do it alone.

The do over
Circumstances change, my Company didn't sell, it went into administration, the original court order set for the divorce of my wife and I was untenable. An amicable compromise was reached between my ex and I and a modified court order that was tenable applied for. Phil Barnsley of Higgs LLP made it happen and my ex and I will continue with our amicable parting that we wanted for the sake of our 3 sons.

Divorce accomplishment
Philip Barnsley and his Team were a tremendous help. I started my journey extremely nervous, completely clueless and very alone but I was made to feel at ease straight away and they helped guide me through the whole process. I was updated frequently and I followed all advice given and the outcome was as I hoped. Philip was extremely professional , I will miss him greatly.

Very professional and caring
