I imagine I was a difficult client at times however they were extremely patient and supportive during a very stressful time. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them to anyone. An unhappy experience
1. Written advice given recommended I took further advice costing up to £4000, verbal advice that I did not need this was turned out to be correct .I had to sign disclaimers that I was not following the written advice which made me feel they were representing the firm rather than my best interests.
2. There was a hiatus where my legal executive was off sick and other solicitors were either on holiday, not working Fridays or not available, I was made to feel that this was my fault.
3. There was a number of serious errors in letters to me: Wrong name of recipient of final settlement, an incorrect date of birth and incorrect date of the deadline for the settlement.
It worked out OK in the end despite a massive bill, my first experience of face to face dealings with solicitors, not a happy one.
