Very easy and professional service with a friendly atmosphere

Patrick has acted for me on a number of occasions over many years, both in house conveyancing and an earlier will, as well as most recently under the umbrella of Pepperells, completing wills for my husband and I.

I have always found Patrick very personable, approachable, love his wry sense of humour and he was unbelievably dogged with our house sale and purchase in 2021, with the most frustrating conveyancer acting on behalf of our buyers. His assistant is also fantastic, hard working, and needs acknowledging.

In terms of the shift from Payne and Payne to pepperells, somethings changed, and I need to address that separately .

Yes the offices are fresher, a reception, fake flowers around the door, but actually getting very straightforward wills done from start to finish took months. Something has changed and not for the better. My previous experience was so much faster for this bread and butter work. Also felt it unfair to have to pay up front for wills that we didn’t actually get until months later. I want to be very clear to differentiate between the many years of working with Patrick whom I trust and rate highly, and the organisational change that is apparent and in my opinion, not for the better

Greated by pleasant receptionists. Further to that Mr Patrick Craft dealt with us in a friendly but professional manner. Over all found it to be a serious appointment but dealt with in a kind and friendly manner. Dealt with Payne & Payne over many years with no problems and expect Pepperells will follow suit as retained some staff at the take over.

Pepperells and in particular Patrick Craft and his team are extremely professional and you can be 100 % certain that a thorough job is done. Patrick picked up on an issue that the seller's solicitor should have seen 2 years ago when the house was first built and had failed to do so, but Patrick was on the ball and would not proceed until the issue was addressed. If there was one point to mention where the process could be improved, it would be for greater transparency during the process for the client to see how it is proceeding, but I would always recommend Pepperells and esp Patrick. Absolutely excellent service. Thank you.
