Family Court Issue Resolved

We had a child matter which required intervention from Courts and solicitors unfortunately, the court battle was long drawn out but Hannah and Andrew handled it with much professionalism, empathy and got our family to the goalpost we needed.
Hannah and Andrew were extremely responsive when issues arose during the proceedings and were always available to answer our questions and concerns.
They also engaged a great Barrister who we could not have been without.

Hannah has worked with me over the past three and a half years to secure a fair divorce in very challenging circumstances. She has acted diligently and professionally throughout, always seeking the best solution for me and my children, and never once have I doubted that she has had my best interests at heart. She has been with me every step of the way, always supportive, always empathic, and yet remaining clear-headed and logical, when I could not be. It is difficult for me to put into words what Hannah has done for me, as the enormity of it has still not quite sunk in, but I will be forever grateful for her initial response when I first approached her in relation to seeking divorce:
Hannah, you believed me, when I didn’t even trust myself, when I was so immersed in the controlling relationship that I knew was slowly destroying me, but I still couldn’t quite recognise what was happening; but you did, and you were able to give it a name, and by doing so you also gave me the power to face it. Throughout these three and a half years, you have witnessed the change there has been in me, but none of that could have happened without your sensible counsel. You have helped to release me from a miserable marriage, and to fight for what was rightfully mine; in doing so, you have also given my children opportunities that they would not otherwise have had, not just in terms of material resource, but also because now they get to know their mother for who she really is, and not just the shadow of the person she had become.
Perhaps we don’t tell people enough what their work really achieves, but beyond the legalise, the paperwork, the contracts, there are real people in need of representation, and real consequences that extend well beyond the courtroom. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hannah Stanford – she is patient, straight-talking, knowledgeable, efficient, and she genuinely cares about her clients. What more could anyone ask for?
I would also add that she thoroughly deserves her promotion to partner at Martin Tolhurst, and not simply on the basis of her gender, in the name of positive discrimination, to “foster gender diversity and promote women in leadership positions” but because she is an extremely good solicitor and an asset to the firm.
