Rej joined Palmers in 2024 as a Solicitor in our Commercial Property team after training at a real estate boutique firm in the City and is based across our Thurrock and Basildon Commercial offices Acting on a wide range of commercial property matters, Rej has a particular focus on landlord and tenant matters, including grants of leases, lease renewals, licences, leasehold management and the acquisition and disposal of commercial property. Rej is a problem-solver and finding solutions to challenges is his goal when advising clients, taking into account their individual commercial requirements. He seeks to become a trusted advisor to his client base, prioritising the building of rapport and mutual understanding. Rej is able to bring disparate views together, engaging everyone, balancing their contributions and producing a consensus acceptable to all and promoting a forward-thinking, positive approach when things don’t go to plan. Rej embraces new responsibilities and takes every opportunity to build his skillset, especially when it comes to clear communication and promoting teamwork with clients. He is involved in a wide range of charitable causes and mentoring opportunities for aspiring lawyers as part of his drive to increase diversity and social mobility within the legal profession.
