Ian Haynes
Director & Head of Conveyancing
Ian joined Walker Foster as a Conveyancing Associate in July 2016, having worked for city firms in both Bradford and Leeds. In June 2018, Ian became a Director and Head of Conveyancing.
He is based at our Ilkley office and manages a varied caseload of conveyancing transactions. Whilst not legally qualified, Ian is proficient in all types of conveyancing including more complex transactions relating to Leasehold, shared ownership and new build.
Ian has practised as a conveyancer for over 20 years and has developed a large network of contacts including mortgage brokers, estate agents and IFA’s as well as a large number of clients who come back time and time again as a direct result of the relationships Ian has built up with them.
Ian is well known for his ‘can do’ attitude and he will always go that extra mile to help someone needing that little bit extra.
The community is important to Ian and he never hesitates to roll his sleeves up and get stuck into the many charitable events and projects that the firm is involved with.
Ian is a supporter of various charities associated with blindness and old age and is a keen speaker on these topics.
With a young family, Ian spends much of his time in the outdoors. He is a keen music fan and loves watching and playing sports.
