I had an excellent experience with Samuel Phillips. I had an old Will with a different firm that was several years old and not applicable any longer so I needed it to be updated. Probate
Management of Probate on my deceased nephew's estate, of which I am sole executor, had been in progress for three years when Samuel Philips took over. Mr Peter Durham was given the brief and I was told he was, quote, "A very nice young man who will take very good care of you". I can only agree.
The legal advice I received was very detailed but always clear and concise with options and my instructions were acted on promptly and with considerably more vigour than previously; probate was completed in about 12 months, for which much thanks.
At 90 years, with some mobility problems, I found this unexpected responsibility continuously stressful and a worry. Mr Durham recognised my concern and in my judgement went well "above and beyond the call of duty" in looking after my welfare and for this he has my most sincere thanks.

Probate
Peter Durham took on our case following problems with a different law firm. He was very sympathetic to the situation, very professional yet friendly putting us at ease quickly. He set out at our first meeting a timeline for the whole process and kept to it, keeping us updated at all times. He was also always available to answer queries either by phone or email, we found him to be very approachable. I have since given him other business as I know he will be deal with professionally, in a timely manor and not at extortionate cost. Would highly recommend him and would never hesitate to use him again.

Revision of Will
Required slight update to existing will due to family changes. Will is probably quite straight forward but just wanted it to be brought up to date and "tidied" up. Had initial meeting within a couple of days of enquiring, one or two phone calls clarifying points, then signing of Will just over two weeks from initial appointment. Solicitor (Peter Durham) was very personable and helpful, and I would certainly recommend and use again if necessary.

Guidance After Unexpected Death of My Husband
