Over the years, Kate has worked with us as a Legal Assistant whilst studying towards her law degree and Legal Practice Course in Sheffield. Kate achieved a first-class honours law degree (LLB) from the University of Sheffield and a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course and Masters (LLM) from the University of Law. Kate also completed her Training Contract with us here at Lincs Law Employment Solicitors.
Kate is now a Specialist Employment Solicitor here at Lincs Law Employment Solicitors. Kate assists clients with various employment matters, including internal employment disputes; redundancy matters; disciplinary proceedings; unfair dismissal; wrongful dismissal; unlawful deduction from wages and discrimination claims.
When Kate is not at Lincs Law, she enjoys socialising with friends and family and challenging herself in the gym.

Compassionate and professional
I took advantage of the free half an hour consultation with Sally which was an absolute send in a difficult time.

Settlement Agreement
Joined a Teams meeting with Kate where she walked me through my Setlement Agreement. She explained each section clearly and in detail; it's meaning and impact on me. She listened to all my questions and gave me clear responses. The document summarising our conversation was extensive and listed recommendations and options open to me. Settlement Agreement
I appointed Kate Kay to look after my interests regarding my recent instruction of Redundancy from my current employer, a Settlement Agreement was sent for my perusal. Settlement agreement advice
Kate was really pleasant and easy to deal with.
