Over the years, Kate has worked with us as a Legal Assistant whilst studying towards her law degree and Legal Practice Course in Sheffield. Kate achieved a first-class honours law degree (LLB) from the University of Sheffield and a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course and Masters (LLM) from the University of Law. Kate also completed her Training Contract with us here at Lincs Law Employment Solicitors.
Kate is now a Specialist Employment Solicitor here at Lincs Law Employment Solicitors. Kate assists clients with various employment matters, including internal employment disputes; redundancy matters; disciplinary proceedings; unfair dismissal; wrongful dismissal; unlawful deduction from wages and discrimination claims.
When Kate is not at Lincs Law, she enjoys socialising with friends and family and challenging herself in the gym.

Extremely helpful and sound advice
Seen on very short notice to review and help agree a none standard settlement agreement with my employer.
Explained everything in great detail and spent time to ensure I knew what my options were before acting swiftly on my instructions.
I opted to pay for more than the standard consultation covered by my employer.

Employment query
From my first contact with Lincs Law through to my consultation with Kate, the service was fantastic. Kate was very approachable, completely understood my situation and offered sound advice. I was fortunate in that a change of circumstances resolved my issue but had it not, I would have had no hesitation in appointing Kate to handle my dispute. Employment Settlement
Due to being put at risk of redundancy, I needed expert advice on the settlement document my employer wanted me to sign. After an initial discussion with Kate at LincsLaw it was important for me to have Kate act for me. Kate went through the document in detail advising me of all the implications of each point in the document. Through this discussion we agreed on changes to the language that we would like to see in the document. All the changes that Kate proposed were accepted by the company.

Very helpful and prompt service
I sought Kate's legal advice on a settlement agreement and was able to speak to her the next day. She gave advice on all areas of the document and provided the opportunity for the signature to be witnessed in the office, so speeding things up and reducing bureaucracy. Thank you Kate for making the process very straightforward.

Settlement.
Kate is an empathetic, approachable and passionate solicitor. She made me feel at ease throughout the employment matter, informing me of the negotiations, all whilst offering me professional advice. Kate managed to win a settlement agreement for me and I was very pleased. I would most definitely say, Lincs law are the solicitors you should use!

How refreshing to find a law firm that truly means it when they say their clients are front and centre. Kate and her assistant Helen were patient, thorough, empathic and made ne feel I was their No.1 priority at all times. No pressure or obligations were put on me, but choices making me feel in controll of circumstances beyond my controll. Highly recommended is an understatement. I wouldn't hesitate to use Kate for any employment need in the future. What an asset she and Helen are to their firm.
