Hazel joined Watermans in July 2024 as Head of the Private Client team, having qualified as a solicitor over 30 years ago. For the last 20 years, Hazel has specialised in advising clients on Wills, Powers of Attorney, Inheritance Tax, Guardianships, and Trusts and Executry Estates. She has also been a legal consultant to a charity and was an external examiner for four years in the Advanced Private Client course for one of the larger universities in Scotland. "Every day brings something new. Every client has a story - some of them surprising, like the lovely gentleman who taught Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire the dance steps in the old movies! Every client is different (whether they can dance or not!) and receives a personal service. We like to get to know our clients and help them to plan documents which fit their personal circumstances whether their estate is large or small."
