John has almost 40 years post qualification experience, qualifying as a Legal Executive in 1987 and as a Licensed Conveyancer in 1988. A Board Member of the Society of Licensed Conveyancers, a Professional Member of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers Adjudication Panel and a Fellow Member of the CILEx Regulation Admissions and Licensing Committee, John is committed to representing the interests of Licensed Conveyancers, supporting the delivery of effective regulation of specialist conveyancing that protects consumers and fosters competition and innovation in the provision of legal services, and contributing to improvements across the wider conveyancing profession in general. John enjoys the intellectual challenge of getting clients from choosing their new home to moving into it, particularly the investigation of title and ensuring it runs smoothly. Joining Susan Howarth & Company in February 2025 to assist in the further development and growth of the Property department, he brings with him a strong reputation in the conveyancing field and an established network of loyal clients and estate agents.
