I qualified as a solicitor in 2022 and joined Higgs as a newly qualified solicitor shortly thereafter. My experience in litigation is wide ranging, from advising clients on defamation, contractual and intellectual property issues to assisting on and attending a trial for a health and safety prosecution case. The clients I have worked with have been of various sizes and from different sectors which has given me invaluable experience in how to facilitate and deliver each client’s needs. In my spare time, I love watching football games with my family, reading, going out for food with friends and keeping up with the latest fashion trends.

Blown away by professionalism
Higgs was the only firm in 12 maybe 13 companies in the Wolverhampton and surrounding areas that got back to me or dealt with defamation. The only firm I could find that deals with defamation this side of Birmingham. I requested a face to face appointment on Thursday and was seen on Monday. Met with professionalism, courtesy and understanding. After dealing with another firm not in the area, via emails and phone calls only. Higgs were a breath of fresh air. I felt listened too and supported. After an hour with Emily I knew I had made the right decision moving firms immediately.

Professional and helpful
