We dealt with Melanie Bateman at the Birmingham office. She took over the file from another solicitor who was struggling with workload. This was rather frustrating at the time as things were progressing very slowly. However, as soon as Melanie took over the file, things improved significantly. Communication was excellent and she moved things forward in an organised manner. She explained everything clearly and dealt with all our concerns. Probate was granted quickly and we are now back on our original timetable. Would highly recommend Melanie.

Deed of retirement
From the onset I have found this firm to be very professional and straightforward to deal with. We have been kept completely up to date and our requirements were dealt with in a courteous efficient manner. We will definitely use MFG at St Paul’s again.

A very professional company.
Due to a change in my personal circumstances, owing to the death of my wife over 5 years ago, I felt the need to update my will.
I contacted MFG, who created the original joint will, to arrange these changes.
After ringing them, my instructions were noted and I was informed that I would receive a call from a solicitor on a certain day and time. To the exact minute quoted I received that call.
I conveyed my requested changes and within a few days I received a draft copy of the new will registering my new instruction.
The changes had been carried out to the letter and I was very happy for Melanie Bott, the solicitor, to go forward and make this new will a legal document.
From start to finish the communication was excellent and I was very impressed with the professional conduct I received from MFG.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any body else.

The solicitors were exceptional
The Birmingham based solicitor and her staff gave an exceptional service under extremely challenging circumstances.
I gave 4* rating due to the attitude of their Bromsgrove based conveyancer whose conduct was rude and unprofessional. His boss apologised, he didn't.
I'd recommend the solicitors, not the conveyancer.
