Julia has specialised in public family law since qualifying as a solicitor in 2019. She has experience in representing parents and other family members in court proceedings. She has spent a period of time representing children’s services at a local authority which has subsequently provided her with a unique perspective and understanding of their practices and protocols assisting in her current role of advising parents within care proceedings and ensuring that parents are receiving the services they deserve and are fully informed of the legal processes during a very difficult time in their lives. Julia is sensitive to clients’ needs, understanding that this is a very difficult time in their lives. However, she also ensures that clients feel in a position to make an informed decision having provided them with realistic advice on their individual situations. Julia has worked on a wide range of childcare cases including cases with jurisdictional issues, deprivations of liberty, non-accidental injuries, and wardships.
