When I read the reviews first I wasn’t too sure but then when I instructed the company and I realised my nightmare had began!
They over promise and can’t keep up! I had so many solicitors who kept switching, I had Rishi first who was eventually sacked I think I don’t know and then Robert took my case on then passed it over and then took it back and he really just needed instructing from me constantly when I rang to see him he just ran off upstairs and never came back down and sent the admin staff down etc. I really don’t like giving bad reviews but the experience was truly horrible! The staff dress like they’re in holiday they just lack professionalism! Anyway if you don’t believe me choose them and see for yourself ! I regretted going with them until Haider was handed my case! He was truly utterly a -send! He just got on with things and was always responsive every query I had! Even after I got the keys there was some issues basically previous owners left a lot of rubbish and Haider was very patient with me as I just had enough by then! He made sure I got my money back from the previous sellers after removing their rubbish! Haider defo saved the day for me! If you do go for them ask for Haider and stay away from Robert! Sorry but you were very unprofessional and I have to leave a honest review!
They never return calls - I may be told I rang a few times etc but if you don’t get replies that’s what you would do right? Anyway I’m just glad I can put all this past me and safe to say I’ll never use this company again or ever recommend!

Simple remortgage, 9 months on still not resolved, they are sitting on my funds, they won't return my calls or emails. Now taking it to the legal ombudsman. DO NOT USE.

I have a court claim against them as they messed up my help to buy isa and owe me 3K. I completed 11th August and they have been ingoring me ever since hoping I would just give up. Since recieving notification of my claim they have emailed claiming they paid this into my account. Interesting as they have never asked for my bank details.. obviously a lie. Will see where this goes..

I am currently dealing with this firm it was simple process no one returned my calls or emails I’ve been passed to 4 case handlers my dead line for me selling my home has passed I’m suffering from a breakdown with the added stress and I feel sick to my stomach I’ve paid them money and no one is helping me

Finally some good news 2nd time lucky, Swift Lawyers persevered with us as our first house we where going to purchase the sellers pulled out Swift allowed us around 2 months to find a new house and didn't charge any additional fees. highly recommended.

Do not use Swift Lawyers! I instructed Swift Lawyers in March to handle the sale of my property which is chain free and a cash buyer sale. We are now in the sixth month and have still not even exchanged! Robert Lewis constantly ignores my emails and you cannot get through to speak to anyone on the phone. Robert Lewis is a disgrace to the legal profession and I don’t believe even qualified to do his job given the experience I have had. I have now had to seek the help of the solicitors regulation authority and the legal Ombudsman to try and get the contracts at least exchanged!

I used a website called 'Home Legal Direct' to find me the best solicitors for the sale of my property & purchase of another one - and I was paired with Swift Lawyers. Worst decision of my life to date.

This was back in late January 2021, I'm writing this review in the 4th August 2021 - almost 7 months later - and the deal is still not completed. I can't get in touch with Robert Lewis, Zoe Sayers or Nazira Adam - three members of the team that are classed as directors and have been involved with my case for the best part of this year. COVID will be fully cured by the time they ever look at my files and act on them. Everytime I tried to re-panel elsewhere I was advised that 'we're close now, not too long to go - don't bother repanelling'. So stupidly I didn't.

I have to now report to a man named Michael at Home Legal to push my solicitors - along with getting my buyer and the person i'm buying my next property from, along with estate agents and anyone else who has an interest in this transaction - they all are e-mailing my solicitors from all angles just so we can get this over the line. Everyone is also frustrated with me for using them, feel it's my responsibility (which in many ways it is) and continue to threaten to pull out of the sale - so all in all I haven't had a good nights sleep in about 4 months.

I call Swift every single day, and have done for months, which is taking a huge knock on my actual day job - and i'm usually told everyone is 'at a meeting or on lunch'. The meetings and lunch breaks must take up 99% of everyone's day because when I eventually do manage to get the odd phone call with anyone - they tell me they're extremely busy and will look into my case that night (which they never do). I've started asking why they take so much work on in the first place if they're too busy to deal with one case in the space of a year?

All in all, I think my sale and purchase will fall through and it'll all be due to the negligence of Swift Lawyers. I'm considering taking legal action but i'll have to consult the ombudsmen first to ensure I'll win my case. I wish i'd seen these reviews before I was paired with them.
